THANKSGIVING WORSHIP
OPPORTUNITIES

opportunity for those who work
Either time is a great chance to gather with fellow
Christians for an uplifting service of thanksgiving to the Lord who gives us all
good things.
ATTENDANCE: Praise God!! We've topped
the 100 mark each of the last two Sundays! Perhaps you've noticed how more
people results in increased energy, better singing, an uplifting
atmosphers. Let's keep it up!
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 'CHRIST
THE KING SUNDAY'
I'll be taking a vacation Sunday, but Pastor Joel
Nickel will be leading my Bible class and our worship. His theme for
Sunday is 'What Is The World Coming To?' Join us for Bible study at
8:50am, worship at 10am.
CONSECRATED
STEWARDS: This new program was approved at our
Congregational Meeting on Nov 19. Our starting date for this 8 week
emphasis will be Sunday, January 7. Consecration Sunday will be Feb.
25. Ryan McIvor from our NW District Office will be our Guest
Leader.
GRANT
POSSIBLITY: Under the leadership of Rex Porter, we are
seeking outside grant money to complete the 2nd story of our building. We
are seeking your ideas on how to use this space for the community and for our
congregation, in line with our Vision Statement: 'By the
power of the Holy Spirit, we will utilize all our God given gifts to welcome and
connect all people in loving relationships with Jesus Christ, each other, and
our community.'
Please write out your ideas for this 2nd floor and
give them to President Paul Schutz, Al Binder (Properties), Bev Stueven (Social
Ministry) or any member of the church Council.
NATURAL CHURCH
DEVELOPMENT: New surveys are being distributed. If
you receive one, please fill it out carefully and return it to either Pastor
Joel or the church office. When all the surveys are returned, they will be
professionally scored and the results shared with Redeemer.
OFFICE CLOSED
on Friday, November 24.
ADVENT
begins Sunday, Dec. 3. Midweek Advent
Vespers will be offered on Wednesdays of Advent: Dec. 6, 13,
and 20, at 7pm using the Holden Evening Prayer. At 6pm on those
Wednesdays we gather for a Soup Supper. Please look for the sign up
sheet and help provide soup, breads, or dessert for those enjoyable
suppers.
