'O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you...because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.  So I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands and call on your name.'  Psalm 63.1, 3-4

Our longing for God is a universal human yearning.  As we move through each crisis in life, each time of wandering and questioning, every tragedy and disappointment and sadness, we are more and more certain of God's steadfast love and care.  That deep knowledge and personal experience of God's love engenders real trust.  The closer we are to God, the more authentic we become as human beings...and the more clearly we see our path through life.

CONSECRATED STEWARDS:  That kind of trust results in genuine stewardship of life.  Our emphasis on Consecrated Stewards continues this Sunday, and culminates on Consecration Sunday, March 18.  Our Guest Leader, Ryan McIvor, will be with us this Sunday to lead our combined Adult Bible study.  If you have not been to any of our CS Bible studies, we strongly encourage you to attend this one.  Ryan's topic: "Consecrated Stewardship from a Lutheran Perspective."

CONSECRATION SUNDAY, MARCH 18:  If you were unable to attend worship last Sunday, you'll have an opportunity this coming Sunday to fill out a Reservation Card for our Celebration Lunch, which follows our worship on March 18.  Food and drinks will be provided, so just come and enjoy time together with your fellow members of Redeemer.  Please do everything in your power to be present on March 18, at worship and for the lunch!

ADDITIONAL DOORBELL has been installed by the main entrance doors.  This will connect with a bell located in the fellowship room by the kitchen, and can be heard when there is activity in that part of the church.  The current doorbell sounds only in the secretary's office, hence the need for an additional bell.

MIDWEEK LENTEN VESPERS continue on Wednesday evenings of Lent, at 7 - 7:45pm.  Soup and Bread Suppers precede our worship each week, at 6pm.  You are invited!  And by the way, these suppers depend on your help, so please sign up on the sheet posted on the main bulletin board, if you would like to bring soup, bread, or dessert to help feed about 40 people each week.  Thanks!!
