'On the third day He rose again, in accordance with the Scriptures.'   Nicene Creed

How understated the single greatest truth of our Christian faith is in the Creeds!  As our advertising / entertainment / Hollywood / spectacle-loving industries bombard us with hype and exaggeration, Christians state the most profound event in the history of the cosmos simply and elegantly, with deep faith and genuine joy.

As we move together through the emotional swings of this week with Jesus on his journey to death and resurrection, I pray that the Spirit would fill your hearts with the fullness of God's love.  As I preached on Palm Sunday / Passion Sunday, "He must increase, I must decrease", in the great words of John the Baptist.  (St John 3.30)
