Having just returned to the office this morning after our trip to Chicago, this version of Midweek Reminders will be brief and to the point, with just a few things for you to note.

NOVEMBER 18:

• Lutheran World Relief Sunday: Bring a special offering towards LWR, one of the best agencies in the world at helping out with disaster relief and hunger / poverty issues. Also, remember that all proceeds from our newspaper recycling go to LWR, so keep placing those old newspapers in our collection box in the parking lot.
• Congregational Meeting right after worship. On the agenda: more information about financing for completion of our 2^nd story and the elevator.

NOVEMBER 21: ‘Day Before Thanksgiving’ worship at 12 noon, followed by a buffet lunch provided by our OFF group. This will be our only Thanksgiving worship service.

SUNDAY ADULT CLASS: My DVD / discussion class resumes this Sunday at 8:50am in the Commons. We’re learning about the gospel of St Mark in the DVD-based course, “Jesus and the Gospels”.
