THANKSGIVING WORSHIP ON WEDNESDAY, 12 NOON, followed by a nice lunch buffet for everyone, thanks to our OFF group. Please join us for one or both!!

SUNDAY, NOV. 25: Christ the King Sunday. Join us for regular schedule of Christian education classes at 8:45am, with worship at 10am.

FOCUS GROUP MEETINGS: Our NCD Health Team has done a great job in gathering many of you for Focus Groups. The purpose of these meetings has been to share openly and honestly our responses to the minimum factor we’re working on: Loving Relationships. One more ‘catch-up’ Focus Group will be scheduled in December, probably during one of our Advent Soup and Bread Suppers on Wednesday evening. For those of you who haven’t yet participated in a Focus Group, please look for more information on this when the date and time are set.

RESULTS FROM CONGREGATIONAL MEETING: The congregation, in a near unanimous vote, affirmed the plan to move ahead with finishing the 2^nd floor of our north wing. The costs will be absorbed into a re-financing of our mortgage with Lutheran Church Extension Fund. First phase will be the construction of an elevator near the main doors (required before we can move to Phase 2 of finishing the upstairs area). Questions? See Al Binder or Paul Schutz.

• Nov. 25, 12 noon: Baby shower for Chris and Angie Shearer, at church.
• Dec. 1, 8am – 12 noon: Thrivent / Habitat for Humanity Build. Sign up on sheet posted on bulletin board.
• Dec. 2: High School Parent Meeting following worship.
• Dec. 2: Decorating the church for Christmas, following worship. Lunch will be provided.
• Dec. 6, 6pm: Ladies Christmas Party at church. Bring a salad, bread, or dessert.
• Dec. 7, 7pm: Ladies Night Out at Anita Crawford’s. Christmas sock exchange.
• Dec. 9, after worship: Reception for Don and Linda Wilson, 40^th anniversary.

MIDWEEK ADVENT VESPERS will again be offered on Wednesdays, Dec. 5, 12, and 19, at 7pm. We’ll sing the lovely Holden Evening Prayer. Worship will be preceded by our treasured Soup and Bread Suppers at 6pm on those Wednesdays. Fred Gargiulo is busy organizing the suppers, so please volunteer your help.
